I turned on the tv today
And I saw the human race
It was an unfortunate scene that I could not erase
I turned on the radio to drown out the noise
But it was just as bad to listen to our voice

If this is what it means
To exercise our beliefs
Then maybe we should uncover our eyes

I turned down the boulevard to see what we'd become
Fascist spoiled brats playing the victims
I read through the holy scriptures to see where we went wrong
But they only confirmed we have yet to find our gods
